Vice President of Culture and Belonging
Riverside Community Care is one of the largest and most respected community-based not-for-profit behavioral healthcare and human service organizations in Massachusetts. The Vice President of Culture and Belonging is a key member of Riverside’s Leadership Team, responsible for driving and sustaining Riverside’s strategic vision for culture and belonging. This role collaborates closely with the Executive Leadership Team and other leaders to put the strategic plan into action and implement initiatives that foster a culture of respect and inclusion for all employees across all aspects of Riverside’s operations, including service delivery.
As a champion for culture and belonging, the VP ensures that Riverside maintains an environment where all individuals feel valued and supported. They oversee and work in close partnership with the Culture and Belonging Committee and other Riverside groups to advance engagement initiatives.
The VP plays a vital role in engaging all employees, collaborating with service divisions and departments within Riverside to embed principles of equality, inclusion and belonging throughout Riverside.
This role requires a passionate, self-motivated leader who can build trusting, collaborative relationships across the organization. The VP also oversees and supports the Culture and Belonging Specialist in executing engagement & training initiatives.

Required Skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of cultural competency, culture, and inclusion concepts
- Ability to utilize data to inform quality improvement
- Active engagement in professional networks and job-related organizations and programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Passion for culture and belonging, with the ability to model and advocate for inclusive practices
- Strong self-awareness, adaptability, and active listening skills
- Ability to establish trusting, supportive, and effective relationships
Required Experience
- Master's Degree
- 10 + years’ experience in inclusion leadership or consulting
- Proven ability to manage projects, facilitate discussions and implement lawful diversity initiatives
- Experience with conflict resolution, problem-solving, and consensus-building
- Group facilitation, presentation, and leadership skills
