

Job Summary
Walgreens is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Inclusion – HR Consultant to drive the execution of our Inclusion strategy across multiple business units. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, business leaders, hiring managers, executive recruiters, distribution center leaders, and data analysts to embed inclusive practices into our workforce strategies. Your expertise in HR consulting and talent acquisition will be instrumental in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that aligns with Walgreens’ values and business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Consultation: Acts as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders, providing expert guidance on embedding inclusion principles into talent acquisition, workforce planning, and leadership development
- Partnership & Collaboration: Works closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition teams, Learning & Development, and business leaders to implement and sustain Walgreens’ Inclusion strategy
- Hiring & Talent Acquisition: Partners with hiring managers and executive recruiters to develop inclusive best practices that attract and retain top talent at all levels of the organization
- Training & Development: Collaborates with Learning & Development teams to create and implement inclusive training programs for employees, leaders, and hiring managers
- Data-Driven Insights: Works with data analysts to assess workforce trends, measure the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives, and identify areas for improvement
- Leadership Engagement: Advises and supports senior leaders and distribution center managers in fostering a culture of inclusion within their teams
- Policy & Best Practices: Stays informed on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to inclusion and ensure compliance with internal and external standards
- Change Management: Leads change efforts that drive cultural transformation, ensuring inclusion initiatives are implemented seamlessly

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. - Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Consulting or High School/GED and at least 9 years of experience in Human Resources
- Experience with equal opportunity and fair employment laws and best practices
- Strategic thinker with experience in developing and implementing inclusive talent and HR-related strategies
- Experience developing strategic initiatives and programs that align with business goals and priorities
- Experience assessing benchmark information and research data on workforce trends
- Ability to utilize workforce demographic data to drive and influence DE&I and business outcomes
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
- At least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross- functional team leadership
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
- Strong business acumen with an ability to translate complex information into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Experience creating and managing strategic partnerships
- Experience consulting, presenting to and influencing c-suite leaders
- Adept at leveraging Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint to analyze data and build presentations
