The Role
Reporting to the Senior Director of HR Shared Services, the Supervisor, HR Operations supports the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in the management of the company’s SOC-1 and Federal, state, and local compliance requirements, EEO reporting, background check administration, and a variety of operational processes and reporting requirements.The Supervisor is accountable for implementing, administering, measuring, and leading all HR compliance activities, ensuring the integrity of employee data within the Workday system and serves as the primary point of contact within HR to the Workday team in IT. Supervising an hourly resource, the Supervisor also oversees daily operational tasks of the function, including invoice payments, background checks, and on- and off-boarding processes, ensuring they are executed on time and with a high degree of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all compliance-related training and communications for new hires and annually for existing employees & contractors; ensure 100% compliance per SOC and regulatory requirements
Project Lead: Manage top customer three-year background check and motor vehicle report process.
Support and/or lead audits (SOC) related to business and HR processes
Consult on employment screening processes, including background checks, reasonable suspicion, and FCRA compliance
Ensure accurate and timely responses to internal and external employment-related requests, audits, reviews, and other inquiries.
Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and partner with the People Analytics team to create dashboards that outline compliance employee tasks, metrics
Complete EEO reporting and annual submission/certification
Serve as main point of contact and HR subject matter expert between HR, Workday Learning, and IT Workday teams
Identify potential compliance risks and develop corrective action plans to address issues
Recommend and implement process improvements in operational workflows to increase efficiency and productivity for users
Ensure HR processes are documented and repeatable, with established metrics
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years' work experience; at least 3 years administering or overseeing HR and EEO compliance
Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate at every level
Analytical, with the ability to draw conclusions from large or multiple data sources.
Ability to identify trouble spots, interesting trends, service delivery issues to develop recommendations.
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies; black or green belt certification a plus
Supervisory experience a plus
Working understanding of Workday’s use, capabilities and configuration within an HR function
Advanced skills in Microsoft suite, especially excel.
