Duties that intrigue you include:

Designing and coordinating new, upgraded or relocated overhead and underground electric utility lines
Investigating voltage issues, capacity concerns, distributed energy and service upgrades for Tipmont members
Managing your own schedule as you guide and coordinate with internal and external crews, teams, contractors, members and builders to accomplish goals
Creating construction documents
Obtaining permits, easements and construction agreements
Overseeing project progress to ensure schedules and budgets are met
Communicating with members, construction crews and the public throughout projects
Determining pole attachment requirements
Representing the utility in communities we serve
Serving on a team to address after-hours outages

Required Skills:

Associate or technical degree in a related field
Staking school or staking experience strongly preferred
Proficient writing and verbal skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license
